How much is a trip with you?

A popular but unfortunately difficult question to answer is the one about price. It depends on so many factors that it’s hard to calculate offhand. Some of these factors include:

How long would you like to travel?
Which region do you want to visit?
How often will you need a guide, or do you require one to accompany you throughout? (Guides, for example, have different rates in India’s various states.)
Homestay/lodge with shared bathroom or a 5-star hotel – this is the biggest factor in price variation
How many kilometers and how many days will you need a car?
Is it possible or desirable to take the train at times?
Which partner agencies may have been able to negotiate better prices for certain services?
Are there affordable flight connections within the country?
How much comfort do you wish for?
